The Festival offers 38 films, documentaries, animation and experimental movies, and music videos that are streaming during the event on a pay-per-view basis. There are also free Daily Video Presentations (11 in total) and the Awards Video Presentation, in addition to the films’ trailers. For the viewers who wish to follow the entire festival, there are VIP Passes available to be purchased directly from the channel at the price of $100 each; one pass offers 7-day access to all the content. Viewers may also opt to pay-per-view for the titles that interest them most.

Global Nonviolent Film Festival takes place from September 29 to October 10. There are ten world premieres among the 38 films from 19 countries selected to compete at this year’s festival. Ten World Premieres Are Among the 38 Films Selected to Compete at the 11th Global Nonviolent Film Festival

Among the films premiering at the festival, there are the first-ever full-length documentary about the life of Mahatma Gandhi’s wife, and the directorial debut feature film of Greek movie star and TV personality Yannis Aivazis.

September 16, 2022 – Hollywood, California – An extraordinary line-up of 38 films and documentaries from 19 countries will be showcased at the 11th Global Nonviolent Film Festival that is set to begin on September 29 and run for 11 days. Ten of the announced films will make their World Premiere.

Distinguished filmmakers from five countries make-up this year’s Jury. In alphabetical order, the jury is composed of Kostadin Bonev, Bulgaria, William Espero, USA, Annette Muller, Germany, Claudia Noble-Areff, South Africa, and Camilla Roman, Norway.

The art, culture, and entertainment magazine “Daria!” is providing the full coverage of the festival and publishing articles about each one of the selected films. The magazine was founded in 2005 by Daria Trifu; it can be read at dariamagazine.com. IndieActivity and Fashion & Flick magazines, founded by Oladapo Bamidele and Zulfi Azad respectively, will also provide coverage of the festival.

The Global Nonviolent Film Festival, founded by film director Bruno Pischiutta and producer Daria Trifu in 2012, is the most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world. The 11th edition takes place this year from September 29 to October 9. The 38 selected films will be showcased and will compete for awards given by the jury. The winners will be unveiled in a video presentation on October 10. Day 11 at Global Nonviolent Film Festival

September 30, 2018 — Hollywood, California — Today is the last day of Global Nonviolent Film Festival. Tomorrow, October 1st, the Jury will communicate the awards; the Award’s Presentation video will be uploaded on the Festival’s Vimeo TV Channel. All the 11 daily video presentations and the trailers of the 32 films will remain available on the channel indefinitely; the full length films will be removed from the channel at the end of the day on October 2nd, as per our agreement with the filmmakers.

Today’s video presentation by film director and artistic consultant of the festival Bruno Pischiutta and actress Christie Norton (who is featured on the Festival’s 2018 poster) is now live on the Festival’s broadcast channel alongside all 32 films selected from 20 countries that are participating in this year’s event.

Global Nonviolent Film Festival is the most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world and it takes place online, on it’s TV channel, between September 20 – 30.

Every day throughout the Festival, a new Daily Presentation video goes live on the TV channel.

The world viewers may watch any of the trailers and daily presentations for free. There is a small fee being charged (pay-per-view) by the Festival to the viewers when they watch any of the full length movies, documentaries, docudramas and music videos; the viewers have also the “Rent All” option for 50 Canadian Dollars that gives them a streaming period of 72-hours during which they may choose to watch any of the available films.

The trailers remain available for viewing for 12 months; the daily presentations remain available indefinitely while the full length films are available between September 20 and 30 only.
