Global Nonviolent Film Festival Announces 2022 Dates & Opens Submissions

October 20, 2021 — Hollywood, California — The 11th edition of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival will take place from September 29 to October 9, 2022.

Global Nonviolent Film Festival is the most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world. It takes place annually on it’s streaming channel at: globalnonviolentfilmfestival.com

Submissions are now open on FilmFreeway. All films submitted must be nonviolent: the Festival does not accept films that showcase explicit or graphic violence; implied acts of violence may be accepted if they are justified by the message of the film.

The films that are selected to participate at the Festival, are guaranteed a distribution contract proposal from globalcinema.online – a unique pay-per-view streaming channel for films that do not contain gratuitous violence. The channel is available worldwide.

Filmmakers from every corner of the globe are invited to submit their films, documentaries, docudramas, animation, and music videos to this vanguard on-line festival that showcases the best in nonviolent cinema.

For 11 consecutive days each year, the world viewers can watch the films selected at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival and enjoy them from the comfort of their homes; they can read about the filmmakers in the annual DARIA! magazine; and they can view, every day, the video presentations provided for every movie.

Here is what the filmmakers had to say about their experience at the Festival in 2021:

The best organized festival ever. The communication is perfect and human. The video of the awards ceremony is especially big and was a nice surprise. All the best!Zsolt Pozsgai, director of “Darking Way” from Hungary
Daria Trifu and Bruno Pischiutta are the wisest festival directors! They know that Cinema is not a boxing match. Cinema is an exchange of ideas. They are lucky people because Global Nonviolent Film Festival succeeded to show so many exceptional movies. Thank you, Daria and Bruno! – Kostadin Bonev, director of “Away From the Shore” from Bulgaria
Daria and Bruno present everything with excellence and professionalism to bring the best artistic works to be seen worldwide. I was honored to participate in the 2021 Global Nonviolent Film Festival and win the award for Best Music Video for “Color Blind”. From entry to communications, website features, future distribution as well as promotion in DARIA! magazine, the resources provided by this festival are a win for everyone who participates! Thank you for recognizing my work!Annemarie Picerno, director of “Color Blind” from the USA
The hospitality and communication have been excellent. Bruno and Daria put a lot of work into presenting the films in DARIA! magazine, on Facebook, in the daily video presentations, and in the Awards Show. When your film has been selected to be part of the festival, you also become part of a community. Thank you for selecting my short film “Waves” (Bølgeblikk), and to the jury for rewarding it for Best Director and Best Actress.Camilla Roman, director of “Waves” from Norway
Delighted to have participated in a very worthy festival. We all need less violence and craziness in our lives. Thank you for creating a forum for good stories sans guns, explosions, and torture!Kate Davis, director of “Cowgirls and Indians” from the USA
Great thanks for this amazing festival. The daily coverage, the accompanying magazine, the appreciation of the filmmakers and the very personal and good communication characterize this festival in particular. What a wonderful event! You have shown so much appreciation to all filmmakers and made their work visible. Thank you very much!Tilo Wondollek, director of “Egg-volution” from Germany
The best nonviolent film festivals in the world where you can watch remarkable independent cinema that share a sensibility. The program does not contain gratuitous violence that you see from the majority of films from the mega corporate world of Film. You won’t see King Kong versus Godzilla here. You see movies about the human condition. It is an honor to have had two of my documentaries selected from the United States and to be included among all the great films you have selected from around the world. Much success to you and all the filmmakers taking part in this great nonviolent and independent film festival. Cheers to all. Thank you for your festival and best wishes!Roger Paradiso, director of “Searching for Camelot: The Quest” and “The Lost Village” from the USA
Wonderful! I am thrilled be part of your Festival. Thank you.Annette Muller, director of “Hu Man – Healing Journey to Being Human” from Germany

A Different Way to Awards & Distribution

www.globalcinema.online

A unique pay-per-view channel showcasing films & documentaries that do not contain gratuitous violence. Available worldwide!

“This movie channel, in keeping with our company’s brand, is here to bring to the world viewers nonviolent visual content for years to come. As a matter of fact, the primary source of our content is the Global Nonviolent Film Festival where we have direct access to films that don’t contain gratuitous violence, and are rich in quality and topical importance.

Global Cinema Online fills a void in the field of video-streaming services, and offers to the public films that give them the possibility to learn more and to open their mental horizon. From now on, every film selected at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival will receive worldwide distribution with very favorable financial terms through Global Cinema Online.

I believe that our formula is right, and that it makes for a win-win situation for all parties involved: the public, the filmmakers, and our company”, says Film Producer Daria Trifu.

“Global Cinema Online is on the right path. The channel will grow in time because it gives something that the viewers want. There are older and very big streaming channels like Netflix, Hulu, Apple and Amazon out there, but they don’t exclude violence, as we do. A lot of people will love the movies we show will watch our films”, says Film Director Bruno Pischiutta.

Global Nonviolent Film Festival is the most important and renown festival of nonviolent films in the world.

The Festival is in business from 10 years, it is recognised worldwide, and it offers the best virtual platform to showcase films, documentaries and music videos to distributors, media executives, and the general public, while competing for awards and recognition!

All films selected are featured in DARIA!, the arts, entertainment & business magazine established in 2005.

All awards are listed and they are connected to each film’s page on the IMDB.

Each selected film is introduced – with commentary and trailer – in the Daily Video Presentations provided throughout the 11-day event. The Video Presentations remain available on the Festival’s Streaming channel after the event ends in order to provide long-term promotion to the participating films.

IndieActivity is a media partner. The magazine provides complete coverage of the Festival. Following the event, IndieActivity Magazine conducts and publishes exclusive interviews with each filmmaker of the awarded films.
